One day Kristin Lucas was sitting in front of a computer rendering an effect in a motion graphics program. The computer she was using became busy. Very busy. This was taking a long time. Kristin became frustrated and walked away from the computer station. Hours later, she returned to the computer station to find a ten second rendering of every effect possible layered on top of one another.

Pyrotechnic Ghost is a collaboration between Kristin Lucas, the computer that she was working on, and several artists who have composed sound for the resulting video.
